John Sheehan has been performing stand-up comedy since January, 2007. In the short time since, he has performed at the Halifax Comedy Festival, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and has opened for international headliners Gerry Dee, and Louis CK. The Wilds is a great venue for all types of corporate events, including conferences, getaways, Christmas parties, and meetings. Conveniently located just 45 minutes from St, John’s, we offer fully-equipped meeting and conference rooms, and plenty of accommodations. Relax after a productive session with a round of golf on our 18-hole championship course, or recap the day’s meetings in the lounge, or on the deck of our heated outdoor pool.


We have one large banquet room and three smaller conference rooms that are perfect for any event.

Equipment rentals (i.e. LCD screen, projectors and flip charts) are available upon request.

The Wild Kingdom Room

Seats 250 people, with a private bar, banquet kitchen, PA system and a private entrance to a large deck. We can also provide risers for staging if required. 


The Wild Kingdom Room can be configured for large meetings.

Moose Meadow

Seats 35-45 people with a coffee station and credenza, and is expandable for larger groups.

Lynx Lair

The Lynx Lair is an intimate, comfy room, with seating for 20-25 people. Set off with a beautiful fireplace and furnished with a sofa, arm chairs, and cushioned rocking chairs, this room is perfect for a private party. The Lynx Lair can also expand into the Moose’s Meadow for larger groups.
